Meet our team

Lead Pastor Hendrik Bisschoff, along with his wife Hailey, lead the team at River Valley Church Vancouver in South Delta. Hendrik (also known as Bish) followed the call of God on his life - left his family, friends, and rock band in South Africa for a new life of ministry in Canada back in December, 2013. Since then, he has served as Associate Pastor and has now been appointed as Lead Pastor (2023). In addition to leading at River Valley Church Vancouver, Bish has also served as the Worship Director for Worship Central Canada, which exists to equip the worshippers and support the local church. He carries a passion for seeing the local church growing and serving in unity, bringing people into life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Bish and Hailey have two sons named Leo (left) & Lincoln (right) and they call Tsawwassen home.
